Characteristics and Purposes
Ø PEW-0274 has uniform particle size, easy to disperse, is the excellent additive of high performanced coating.
Ø PEW-0274 is suitable for offset printing ink, solvent-based flexo printing ink, and solvent-based gravure ink. It can greatly improve the abrasion resistance of solvent-based inks, reduce the friction coefficient of ink, has good adaptability with benzene soluble ink, alcohol soluble Ink and resin soluble ink.
Ø Can improve the abrasion resistance and scratch resistance of all kinds of surface coatings, has good transparency, can be used in wood coatings, plastic paints, coil coatings and other areas like this.
Ø Can be used in powder coatings, can increase the hardness, scratch and abrasion resistance of powder coating, with the using amount at about 0.3%, can help to reduce gloss and will not smoke under 180°C baking.

Contents and Usage
Ø In different systems, the additional amount of the wax powder is generally between 0.5 to 3%.
Ø Usually by way of a direct high-speed stirring, it dispersed in solvent-based coatings and printing inks.
Ø Through a variety of grinding machines and high-shear dispersing device is added, use the mill to grind, and should pay attention to the temperature control.
Ø Pre-dispersing treatment can be performed to prepare a concentration of 20-30% wax slurry, add into the system when needed, by which can reduce the wax dispersion time.
