Characteristics and Purposes
Ø PEW-0617F is PTFE modified polyethylene wax, PE/PTFE composite wax powder which is suitable for paint, powder coating, and wood coating, with the adding of PTFE, its smoothness and scratch resistance have greatly improved, and has very good synergistic effect. This product has good transparency in the baking systems, and has very good hand feeling in the self-dry systems..
Ø Can be used in gravure printing ink and offset printing ink.
Ø Can provide smoothness, scratch resistance and excellent transparency when be used in can coating .
Ø Can be used in different powder coatings with the resins like epoxy polyester and polyester TGIC, can improve the surface hardness, smoothness, and friction resistance.

Addition level and processing instructions
Ø The addition level of the micronized wax is generally at 0.5-3% in different systems.
Ø Can usually disperse in solvent coatings and inks directly by high speed stirring.
Ø Can be added by using variety of grinding machines, high-shear dispersing devices, and should pay attention to the temperature control when operating the grinding machines.
Ø Can carry out the decentralized processing to make the wax slurry with the wax powder concentration at 20-30%., then add it into the systems when needed, which can decrease the dispersion time.
