Polyethylene Wax for Modification of Alkyd Resin
1, Polyurethane modification
Polyurethane modified alkyd resin has fast drying, high hardness, good film elasticity, high wear resistance, and good waterproof performance and chemical resistance. It is mainly used as indoor wood varnish. The trimer blend of medium oil alkyd resin and isophorone diisocyanate can make room temperature self-drying modified alkyd resin paint, which improves the dry rate, mechanical strength, solvent resistance, weather resistance and gloss. , bright, both protective and decorative.
2, epoxy resin modification
After alcoholysis of dry oil (soybean oil, linseed oil) and polyol, add epoxy resin (E-44) to react with alcoholysate after cooling, and then add phthalic anhydride to esterify, stop the reaction when the viscosity is suitable for epoxy modification Alkyd resin can improve the adhesion of paint film to metal, maintain gloss and color, and obtain excellent water resistance, alkali resistance, chemical resistance and certain heat resistance.
3, Silicone modification
Drying oil and semi-drying oil alkyd resins contain hydroxyl groups, and can react with organosilicon oligomers containing methoxy groups to obtain self-drying and drying organosilicon-modified alkyd resins. The introduction of silicone segments into alkyd resins helps to improve weather resistance, durability, gloss and color retention, heat resistance and chalk resistance, etc. It can be used as a durable paint for marine paint, outdoor steel structures and appliances and repair paint.
4, acrylic monomer or resin copolymerization modification
Acrylate-modified alkyd resins have better weatherability, gloss retention and scratch resistance. After modification, it dries quickly, and the color retention and weather resistance are greatly improved. The acrylic monomers used for modification mainly include methyl methacrylate, butyl methacrylate, ethyl acrylate, and acrylonitrile. The copolymerization modification method is: firstly synthesize conventional alkyd resin, and then copolymerize with acrylate monomers to generate acrylic modified alkyd resin. In order to improve the grafting rate, a certain amount of maleic anhydride can be introduced into the alkyd resin monomer, and the vegetable oil can be selected from fatty acids containing conjugated double bonds (such as dehydrated ricinoleic acid, eleuic acid, etc.), and the initiator can be selected from diphenyl peroxide. Formyl modified resins are thixotropic.
5, polyamide modification
Lipid molecules have a jelly-like structure, but this force is weak, and can be broken by external forces and return to a linear structure and is in a liquid state.
