2021-11-03   Pageview:825

Coating anti-mildew agent is suitable for all kinds of water-based and emulsion-type adhesives such as polyvinyl alcohol adhesives, polyvinyl acetate and copolymer emulsions and sealants, polyacrylate adhesives, adhesives containing starch (or modified starch) and other natural ingredients such as mold and mildew anti-corrosion in the can. It has the advantages of safety, high efficiency, broad spectrum and ease of use, etc. It can effectively inhibit the growth and reproduction of various bacteria, mold and yeast to prevent rot and mildew caused by microorganisms in the production or storage of water-based and emulsion-type adhesives.

When added to the paint, even in high humidity and high mold breeding environment, the paint surface can still effectively prevent mold breeding and no mold spots will appear on the wall. Proper use of AEM5700-T50 paint anti-mold agent can maintain 10 years of anti-mold activity and stability.

Due to the role of the three three-dimensional support points of the molecule, the chain entanglement can be strengthened, and it has a large number of carbon and hydrogen atoms, micronized ptfe industries which drastically changes the surface energy, resulting in a significant drop in viscosity. The three non-hydrolyzable groups can be the same or different. The length of the carbon chain can be adjusted arbitrarily according to the compatibility requirements; and the group connecting the titanium center can be partially changed according to the performance requirements, which can be applied to Thermoplasticity can also be applied to thermosetting resins, so the flexibility and adaptability of titanate coupling agents greatly outperform silane coupling agents. Take the titanate coupling agent TN IPI-42 [abbreviated as KR-42, dioctyl isopropoxy phosphate bis(dimethylaminoethoxy) titanium] as an example.
The curing mechanism of IPI-42 in epoxy resin with filler

It can be seen from Figure 15-5 that the isopropoxy group is coupled with pigments and fillers, and the phosphate group can reduce the viscosity of the system and prevent precipitation, improve the processing technology, and at the same time cross-link the bifunctional tertiary amine and epoxy resin. If 5% KR-42 is used, it can also replace 10%~50% amine curing agent.

By mastering the mechanism of action of the 6 functional areas, we can flexibly design titanate coupling agents that meet various performance requirements according to the actual situation in the coating industry.
Type and application performance of titanate coupling agent

Titanate coupling agents can be roughly divided into three types according to their chemical structure: monoalkoxy type, chelate type, and coordination type, which are described separately below.

Monoalkoxy
This type has the largest variety, contains various functional groups and characteristics, has a wide range of applications, is relatively cheap, and has the highest output. It is widely used in plastics, rubber, coatings, adhesives and other industries. Several varieties have been developed in China. Except for the monoalkoxy type containing ethanol amino and pyrophosphate groups, most of the varieties have poor water resistance and are suitable for the treatment of dry pigments and fillers, and are used in non-aqueous solvent-based coatings. The following introduces the main representative varieties worthy of development and application in the coating industry.
