Characteristics and Purposes
Ø PEW-0851 is suitable for various water-based and solvent-based inks and coatings. It has high hardness, high melting point, and helps provide good gloss.
Ø PEW-0851 can be used for water-based inks&varnish, and water-based paints. It provides very good anti-adhesion, scratch resistance, abrasion resistance, stain resistance, soft hand-feeling and better hydrophobicity.
Ø PEW-0851 provides coating with good hardness, excellent abrasion resistance, those performances, the wax emulsion is very hard to achieve. It has excellent dispersibility. At the same time, it helps to obtain good gloss and good transparency in solvent-based systems.
Ø PEW-0851 has good compatibility with fillers, pigments, and metallic pigments, and it is also anti-sludging.

Addition level and Usage
Ø In a variety of systems, the additional amount of the micronized wax is generally between 0.5 and 3%.
Ø Can usually directly disperse in solvent-based coatings and printing inks by a direct high-speed stirring,
Ø It can be added through using all kinds of grinding machines, and high shear dispersion equipments.
Ø Pre-dispersion treatment can be took and add it into the system when needed, by which can reduce the dispersion time.
