Silicon dioxide high efficiency matting agent has a wide range of applications in the coatings industry, its applicable coating varieties are: water-based and solvent-based transparent wood coatings (wood varnish), water-based and solvent-based wood coatings, high solids coatings, acid-catalyzed coatings, architectural coatings, electrodeposition base coatings, fabric coatings, vinyl coatings, military coatings, wallpaper coatings, PVC plastic coatings, etc.

The silica matting agent treated with polymer wax is used in aqueous transparent wood coatings, and the coating film has excellent optical properties with only soft precipitation during use. The biggest advantage of using silica matting agent in high solids coatings is that while getting the desired matting effect.

Semi-batch polymerization is sometimes called semi-continuous polymerization. In this process, one or more components will be continuously added or added. That is, first put part of the monomers, initiators, emulsifiers and other raw materials into the reactor. After a certain degree of polymerization, the remaining monomers, initiators, etc. are continuously added to the reactor at a certain speed within a certain period of time. Continue the reaction until the end of the reaction.

Seed emulsion polymerization must first prepare a seed emulsion, and then further polymerize on the basis of the seed emulsion in order to obtain an excellent particle size distribution. The seed emulsion is prepared in a seed kettle, that is, water, emulsifier, initiator and monomer are added to the seed kettle, and polymerization is carried out at a certain temperature to obtain a sufficient number of latex particles with a sufficiently small particle size. In the continuous polymerization process, all the ingredients are added continuously, ptfe wax emulsion, and the latex produced is continuously eliminated.

In actual commercial production, semi-batch emulsion polymerization is the most commonly used, and many polymer emulsions are produced by semi-batch methods. This is mainly because the semi-batch polymerization process is relatively easy to control the heat transfer in the reactor, and the proportion of various components in the copolymer can be controlled by the way of monomer dripping.

The post-polymerization treatment of semi-batch polymerization and continuous polymerization is the same as batch polymerization.
