Application of Fischer-Tropsch wax in the PVC industry. Fischer-Tropsch wax has the characteristics of high melting point, low viscosity and high hardness, so it has excellent performance in many application fields including plastics, inks, coatings and hot melt adhesives. Fischer-Tropsch wax has excellent thermal stability, with very little heat loss within 300 degrees of temperature, and very good lubricity in the later stage of PVC processing, so the risk of precipitation is very small.

Application of Fischer-Tropsch wax in the PVC industry:

1. In terms of delayed plasticization performance, Fischer-Tropsch wax has more effective delayed plasticization ability compared with by-product wax and polyethylene wax (PE wax).

2. Compared with similar products, it has better cost performance and good batch stability.

3. PVC products using Fischer-Tropsch wax have high gloss and smooth surface, and perform very well in profiles and pipes; Fischer-Tropsch wax can reduce the use of by-product wax by 10-20%, while reducing the risk of precipitation.

Fischer-Tropsch wax (FT Wax)is a straight-chain alkane wax, which is added in large amounts in PVC stabilizers and PVC product processing. The increase in the amount of lubricant (mainly Fischer-Tropsch wax) delays the plasticization of PVC in the extruder and reduces the consumption of stabilizers. Generally, stabilizer manufacturers add low-density oxidized polyethylene wax or high-density oxidized polyethylene wax to the formula to increase the plasticization of the PVC melt, so as to reduce precipitation, increase the later demoulding properties, and improve the physical properties of the products.
