How to prevent powder coating agglomeration? High temperature and high humidity environment can easily cause agglomeration of powder coating, which seriously affects the production, storage, transportation and use of powder coating. I. Storage stability:
The storage stability of powder coating is mainly determined by the glass transition temperature of resin and curing agent. Under the condition of ensuring the appearance of coating film, try to choose products with high glass transition temperature of resin and curing agent. When the curing agent variety cannot be selected, try to choose the variety with relatively high glass transition temperature of resin to match.

II. Formula design:
Try to add less or no additives that affect the glass transition temperature, dry powder fluidity and storage stability of powder coating, such as liquid leveling agent, wax type matting agent and accelerator.
The internal addition of wax type matting agent improves the looseness of powder coating, reduces the repose angle of powder coating, makes powder coating not easy to agglomerate, and improves the storage stability of powder coating. Fillers such as porous powder quartz with large specific surface area and strong moisture absorption capacity are added in an external way to form an isolation layer between powder coating particles, reduce the chance of collision and agglomeration of powder coating particles, make powder coating less likely to absorb moisture and agglomerate, and improve the storage stability of powder coating.

3. Storage process of powder coating:

Powder should be stored in a light-proof and dry workshop. Some products with high gloss and floating flowers that are easy to agglomerate need to be stored in an air-conditioned warehouse, or a layer of aluminum foil should be wrapped around the product for heat insulation. For transportation, air-conditioned vehicles or trucks covered with sunshade cloth should be used. Do not use box trucks for transportation, and heavy objects should be avoided.

In addition, the probability of volcanic pits, granular protrusions, and blistering on the surface of the products baked by powder coatings with modified amide wax defoamers and micro-powder polypropylene modified wax has been greatly reduced.
