In addition to the use of relevant machinery in the rubber processing process, certain rubber processing aids are also required. Existing rubber processing aids include polyethylene wax, montan wax, etc. Montan wax is a natural wax with excellent performance in the rubber processing process, but the supply is seriously in short supply. Polyethylene wax belongs to artificial synthetic wax, and the supply is relatively stable.

Polyethylene wax has different functions in different processes of rubber processing:
Calendering: It can be used to make pure film, patterned film and curtain cloth, canvas, copper-plated steel wire curtain cloth and other skeleton materials (glue sticking, rubbing).
Extrusion: semi-finished products with different cross-sections such as hoses, profiles, rubber strips, rubber sheets, etc. are continuously extruded through different die shapes for molding and direct vulcanization.
Rubber refining: divided into plasticizing and mixing. Plasticizing is defined as reducing molecular weight, increasing plasticity, improving processing properties, and making plasticized rubber with plasticity that meets the requirements. Mixing is defined as mixing and dispersing rubber and coagulants evenly through reaction to make mixed rubber. The equipment used is open mixer, internal mixer and extruder.
