What is the use of polyethylene wax emulsion? Polyethylene wax emulsion can be diluted with water in any proportion without forming layers, breaking emulsions or agglomerating. It is resistant to acid, alkali, hard water, has strong water solubility, stable emulsion, and long shelf life.
1. It is used as an internal dispersant in masterbatch processing and is widely used in polyethylene hydrocarbon masterbatch, fiber masterbatch and various functional masterbatch.
2. Used as pigment dispersant, lubricant and brightener in the molding process of PVC profiles, pipes, fittings, PE.PP, enhance the degree of plasticization, and improve the toughness and surface smoothness of plastic products.
3. Used as dispersant and brightener for inks, paints, especially road marking paints and line drawing paints, with good anti-sedimentation effect, so that the products have good gloss and three-dimensional sense.
4. Used in the production of various hot melt adhesives, thermosetting powder coatings, and PVC composite stabilizers.
5. Widely used in the production of floor wax, car wax, polishing wax, candles and various wax products, to improve the softening point of wax products, increase their strength and surface gloss.
6. In the rubber industry, improve the surface brightness and smoothness of the product after demolding, reduce the amount of paraffin wax, and reduce production costs.
【Precautions】:
1. When using wax emulsion in the production of water-based system products, the order of adding raw materials is very important. Improper addition will cause the wax emulsion to form condensate. It is recommended to use the method of adding wax emulsion in the later steps.
2. Pay attention to the effect of system pH and ion form on wax emulsion, especially cationic system.
3. The amount of addition is generally 3-5% of the system.
4. Pay attention to antifreeze during storage, and avoid demulsification caused by contamination by other chemicals.
