How to add glue thickener?

Add the measured water into the electric hybrid power glue reactor, turn on the heating switch and stirring switch, put in the polyvinyl alcohol, continue to heat up to p8 degree Celsius, automatic constant temperature until completely dissolved (about 1 hour) then add the KJ-200 glue special thickener to stir and keep warm for 30 minutes, release the material.

This is true for all kinds of pigments. When dispersed in different resin base materials, the stability of the dispersion is related to the concentration of the polymer, and the effect of the pigment on the polymer’s adsorption is greater.
The optimal value mentioned above refers to the resin concentration used when grinding the color paste, a resin polymer with active groups and a wide molecular weight distribution, such as the alkyd resin mentioned above. When it is combined with inorganic pigments, if the resin concentration is high, a considerable amount of low molecular weight alkyd resin with strong polarity will be preferentially adsorbed on the surface of the pigment particles, and the resin adsorption layer formed is relatively thin and will not achieve good results.

Storage stable dispersion. If the resin concentration is reduced, for example, 20% or 30% resin solution is selected as the grinding base material, then the pigment/base ratio is appropriately increased,  pe wax dispersion and the pigment content of the grinding slurry is increased. There are two advantages to doing so;
①The low resin concentration will make the color slurry The decrease in viscosity of the resin helps the wetting of the pigment by the resin.
②The resin concentration is low, and the resin polymer of small molecular weight with strong polarity cannot reach the saturation adsorption on the surface of the pigment. The remaining polar adsorption group on the surface of the pigment will combine with the alkyd resin of large molecular weight, which can be called mandatory Adsorption, the adsorption layer formed in this way is thick, and can fully exert the steric hindrance stabilization effect of the resin polymer. In fact, the alkyd resin at this time can be regarded as a wetting and dispersing agent.
