Application Of Low-temperature Heat-seal Coating In Medical Packaging

Application of low-temperature heat-seal coating in medical packaging, water-based EAA (ethylene acrylic acid copolymer) emulsion, formed by crystal particles through high temperature and high pressure to form water-based emulsion, which is coated on paper or film substrates. The coating has a strong heat-seal effect and can replace the coated PE to achieve the structural simplification of packaging materials, and can be recycled and reused.

Water-based EAA emulsion can be used in food and medical device packaging. The production process of coated paper is simple, the quality is more stable, and the heat-seal strength is large in actual application. The heat-seal strength of 2um coating thickness can reach about 3N/15mm, and the sealing temperature is about 20℃ lower than that of PE coated paper, which is more advantageous for heat-sensitive food packaging.

Applicable substrates: medical fiber paper, medical and food grade aluminum foil, PE film, composite film, heat-seal film, kraft paper, glassine paper, chicken skin paper, etc.

Application areas: heat sealing of medical sterilization product packaging (cotton swabs, masks, protective clothing, gauze, etc.), aluminum foil medicine packaging, food packaging bags, aluminum foil lunch boxes, etc.

Recommended use method:

1. The recommended dry coating amount is 1-3g/m2, and customers can increase or decrease it appropriately according to actual conditions. Drying conditions: 80-100℃, 5-10 seconds.

2. According to performance requirements, it can be used directly or diluted with deionized water to a certain proportion before coating.

3. It needs to be washed with water in time after use. If it is difficult to wash, it can be washed with ethyl acetate.

4. Storage conditions Ventilated and dry, avoid sunlight, and store at 5~35℃.
